The Infection Prevention Strategy (TIPS)
Advancing innovations, ideas and processes that make a difference in global health.
TIPS is a not-for-profit with the mandate to communicate successes in science and global health. We do this through our free-to-access platforms: the open-access TIPS Journal, the TIPS Master Series, TIPS Interviews and the TIPS Science to Market® program.

Have an innovation?
Let’s establish the science.
TIPS’ greatest achievement beyond the TIPS Journal has been helping start-ups and companies large and small establish the evidence they need to go to market. We review your technology and claims, introduce you to leading scientists and laboratories, help design and run studies, trials and pilots, publish the results and communicate your success.

How is TIPS funded?
For many of the people involved, TIPS is a life’s work: we passionately believe in advancing science. There is no financial requirement to take part. We have done the science for many start-ups and innovators without a paid sponsorship, and we value an author who publishes with us routinely as much as a sponsor.
Each year we seek out a few sponsorships where we can really help someone, fast-tracking them into the TIPS Science to Market® program. That support keeps our free-to-access platforms running. Many more supporters contribute scientifically, through advisory support, study design, peer review, publishing and conference support, and every organization that has worked with TIPS is listed with what they supported.
